What is a Transaction
A transaction on the blockchain is a way to transfer value from one wallet to another.
When wanting to send money to a friend, we initiate a transaction stating how much money to send and who to send it to, similar to Venmo or Paypal.
Transactions are added to the blockchain ledger and are public; anyone can see who you are sending money to and how much you are sending.
